In Laos

We are now in Pakse 3 days. Good to be here and ...  work together in this way. After Church service today we will go to Ubon and after that to Bangkok. Happy to be part of what God is doing in 

Disciples makes disciples!

I sat with Lampuang one of my disciples today. She is very skilled in her gifting and we see good fruit in the lives of others from her ministry. We talked last year about finding someone in Ubon with similar gift and skills and whom she can help sharpen, mentor and build more into. Today it was time to follow up on this process.

She did find someone to invest in, someone that is willing to be mentored and trained. God told Sommai she would be trained by Lampuang. But when she met me with Lampuang she took for granted that I was the one to train her. Culturally you respect someone older and of course it was more tempting to be trained by a foreigner. I knew this was not my duty, and I would have robbed my disciple form the opportunity to multiply.  I could have ruined the growing process of my disciple by doing what she is called to do here.

Today we sorted this out. And I am glad the principle of training others who will train others, works. And I know that for this season in my life in Ubon-Pakse....: I do not take back the mantel that is already ''grabbed by Elisha'' but I am allowed to stand by and encourage from time to time.

Would you rejoice with me today.

I just love testimonies of deliverance. When the truth of God breaks the shackles of lies. 

One man in our pioneer meeting today, who did not receive any special prayer, but in the atmosphere of worship and the presence of God he was suddenly surprised by the truth, that he truly is forgiven of every sin in his life. He exclaimed: "I never experienced anything like this, I feel so light, so free". And he smiled from ear to ear.

...landed in Ubon-Pakse

On the way from Göteborg

the word from 2 Cor 2:12 was ringing in us.  Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,

Right there on the plane we thanked the Lord for all the open doors here in Ubon-Pakse.

We landed yesterday afternoon in Ubon and we look forward to new step forward in the mission work. Anna wrote on facebook last night ... before she went to bed.

So grateful to the Lord. Grace, Rose, Jom and Lamphuang welcomed us at Ubon Ratchathani airport. So lovely to meet again and update a bit, there will be much more of that.

The room/unit we rented in the fall @ Pakdee Mansion was naturally vacated the 14th. Cleaned the 15th and ready for us to occupy today. Perfect timing. Nice to be back in the same place. Perfectly located for us.

Tomorrow we start.... hoping for minimum of jetlag. Our bodies yearn for a good stretch on the bed. Thank you all for praying.

We are doing well.

We are doing well. Happy to be in Sweden more or less 13 months. We are both of us active in different ways. We care right now active In the family, the church, the mission and the community. This weekend we will be in ED.

• Between the 16th to the 29th we will be in Issan and in Laos.   
• April-July we will again be in Sweden
• Moving to Ubon end of Juli.

This is our garden House (Friggebod) we are living is.

Anxiety and insecurity

The last few weeks we have heard a lot of talk about anxiety and insecurity. Party leaders and others are speaking about all the anxiety and insecurity the people of Sweden have. I will not analyze the different types of anxiety, insecurity, but just want to say two things:

a) we always have to respect person's with anxiety and insecurity. For them it is real.
b) even if it may look impossible God and people together can help us all in midst of all our worries and troubles.

Jesus says: Do not worry.

We thank you God that together with you and people there is light in the tunnel for us all. Ingvar
