Khun Na (55) and Khun Mae Chuay (77)

Yesterday the phone rang at 02:00. Khun Na's wife cried, "Na is not breathing". We immediately went to their home and on to the hospital in Warin. 

At 03:00 the doctor said Khun Na is dead. He has left behind his wife, a daughter and a son. Na has helped us and many during the last 5 years with practical things. Whenever some hard work was needed ....we always asked Na to come. He was at his best when he had a lot to do. He loved working with our garden he was full av creative ideas. Faithful and trustworthy we could always leave are home open for him.

THANK YOU Khun Naa for all you were and all you did. You had a heart of Gold. There are many of us who now are missing you greatly. 

                         We are glad that he now is at home with Jesus.

Khun Mae Chuay (77) .... does not give up.

Boy, Fon and Fang have taught about 'small business' in the autumn of 2024.

Several positive small business initiatives are now after these classes on the way. One of the oldest students, Mae Chuay (age 77), was inspired to start renovating an old family house and renting out two apartments.

  

Wednesday afternoon was the inauguration. We rejoiced with the father (86) and mother (77) plus their children for the 'creativeness' together. Everyone was also happy for a new family unity that is visible.

Do I have what it takes?

                                                                                                                                              

An English saying is: Do you have what it takes? 

First we think that: I can. I know. I can do it myself. But over the years we realize that only with God, as the master builder, the building will be a living building.  

I do what I can and I give 100% room for God to do what He can. And even more: I give others around me room to do what they can and they also give 100% room for God to act.  

When William Carry (England) shared God`s calling to go to Kolkata India, he got the response: “Sit down young man! If God wants to evangelize the heathen, he will do it without your help or mine!” 

But God's calling was stronger and he came to India in November 1793. He became The Father of the Modern Mission.

So the only possibility for us to build a life-giving movement among the people is for us to realize that we cannot produce power, life, peace, joy, hope, etc. Only in cooperation with God himself something of eternal value will happen. And others around us will do the same. 

       Lord, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us. Isaiah 26:12

Yes, many struggling people in 2025 will cry out to God for help. And we, in God's presence, will do what we can and see God's mighty works. Right?

                                        

Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not give up.
