Wonderful .....bigger space

Rejoice with us here in Ubon that we now have a much better space in the Church, Ubon Music Cafè and the Bakery. THANK YOU all who has contributions to this upgrading. Fantastic. Many are now coming in and feeling the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you Jesus for being here.

We are happy for everyone who are helping practically to make it nice and useful.

We are thankful that 2 Bible School students will come on Thursday, this coming week from the Bible School in Prauchab. They will be with us 9 months.

....... go through testings.

Life is full of testings, not only when we are studying in Schools-Collages-Universities, but through our whole life. 

We have just gone through a global test of the Corona Pandemy and it is important to do some evaluations: What did we learn through this all?

In the Bible we see all kinds of Big and Small testings. We also 2022 have many big and small tests. 2 Cor 1:3-4 is speaking strongly:

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction,

so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

So ... the teaching is: If we hid in testings we can not help others. WOOW

At the same time, even if any person have failed terrible in life, they are good enough to come back into the Fathers Fellowship, and good enough to come into the Church Fellowship. All people still breathing and turning around from their whickered ways ... is good enough - back home.

God bless us all to go through big and small testings, so we can help others.

Our focus is the Light, not the darknss.

We can easily put darkness in the center and be filled with fear. "How can this work out for good"?Then the only solution is for the Light JESUS ​​to become the center. He goes ahead and says: "Follow me: You are the light of the world".

Now, God's people, we need to shine more than ever.

I am grateful for God's guidance to to me: To Sweden 6 Dec, 11 weeks in 30 places and now 23rd Feb to Thailand. Glad that everything went so well.

1. 17 Jan 2022 I tested positive on Corona fast test.

2. 18 Jan 2022 I tested positive on Corona PCR test. I had a "cold" for 5 days. Did not meet people during 10 days.

                                

3. 21 Feb 2022 in Gothenburg: I ​​was tested negative on PCR test.

4. 24 Feb 2022 in Bangkok. I tested negative on PCR test

                                     

5. 1 Mar 2022 in Hua Hin: I was tested negative on PCR test

                                    

We can rejoice in God's strength and guidance through all the difficulties .... along the way. Jesus is the center and now says to us in a loud voice: "You are the light of the world". Light is needed when it is dark. And now we need to shine more than ever.

Light is in the center .... not the darkness.

Thank you all for the blessed 11 weeks I had with you in Sweden.                                   -----------------                                                                                                             Now I am in Bangkok. Anna vill come tomorrow and we will have 5 days holiday together in Hua Hin.                                                                                                          -----------------

Often we think that if we have some free time, some extra strength and some money over ...  we will help others. But the Bible speaks clearly in many places that if I put my ego in the centre, I will have much problem in life. 

We all have a Free Will and can choose our Lord. But if my ego becomes my master, my life will be a slavery. Freedom is to invite and follow Jesus and His plan for my life. It can sound difficult, but to follow Jesus is the best freedom I can have. Last night I flew over Russia and these words .... so that ..... became living for me.

Jesus suffered ..... to help us in our problems. And when Jesus becomes our Lord 

.... He helps us in our hardship so that .... we can help others.

 We find the blessings in life when we belong to God and share with each other.  

2 Co 1:3-4 Blessed .......  the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we may be able to comfort those experiencing any trouble.

Job 42:10a And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends.

Let him comfort us so we, these days, can comfort others.

Last Sunday Service in Elim Church Skene we a blessed time. Happy to hear the worship: CHOSEN, and the sharing of Thomas L. and read from Ps 92:14-16  

..... flourish..... shall grow ..... are planted in the house of the Lord.                      ..... shall flourish in the courts of our God.                                                           ..... shall still bear fruit in old age;                                                                             ..... shall be fresh and flourishing,                                                                              To declare ....

The word came to me: 

 we can Be: As a baby Blessing many, even if I do nothing Good.                    we can Do: As adults Working hard to do many Good works. Do "meriter".          we can Be: As an old person Blessing many without doing many good works.

Greetings: The spiritual development in the Streams of Grace Church is very exciting. We see something happen that we have not seen anywhere else before. What Paul says in Ephesians 4: 15-16 is that there is a union through love, support and power of the limbs that makes the whole body grow. Not just from top to bottom but across the width. It has taken 3 years of grace and truth, restoration and trust in building the church that is now bearing much fruit. Maybe it's in a time such as this…. even globally. We are growing. And we are challenged by both the lives of newborns and some lost sons and daughters who have returned with much in their ”luggage”. But there is life and love in the 'body' and we a all happy to serve together. Anna

Anna and I are living in 2 world.

A Issan-Lao world: with around 30 million people. People here are respecting the older people and are crying for Spiritual parents.

A western world: with 10 million people here in Sweden. People here in Sweden are happy for all God is doing in Isaan-Laos, but they are often asking us: "When will you stop working"?

When we share that from 1 Oct 2013 we came to Ubon-Pakse, we started from the beginning to train others, who can train others, who can train other etc ........ And, the people are happy to hear this. 

Many in Laos and Thailand do not have Spiritual Parents. So they are very happy we are that for them.

Difference between Religion and Jesus

What is the different between religion and JESUS? Sometimes we can be tempted to work hard to tell people: Become a Christian because Christianity is the better religion. 

Religion says: You have to walk right, left, straight .... and hopefully you will be good enough to make it. In Ubon-Pakse the merit making is central. You are good enough if you have done enough merits. 

Jesus says: I have opened the way, by grace. I will walk with you and show you the way. 

"He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, 

and before you know it, 

he brings us alongside someone else 

who is going through hard times 

so that we can be there for that person 

just as God was there for us". 2 Cor 1:3 

I have in many countries been looking for new places. For Churches, houses, offices etc. Many times people has told me: Go right, go left, go straight and you will find it. But the best has always been if someone says; I take my MC och will show you the way: Follow me. 

This is what Jesus does: He knows the way and leads me.

How can we bless others 2022?

It's easy to give up these Corona-19 days, when it's harder to travel and harder to meet each other. Our experience since 1975 in Bangladesh is that during disasters, the uneducated and poor are always hit the hardest. They are filled with fear and in order to have food on the table, they sell what they have very sheep or take loans with high interest. Educated people often have an employment and "keep on running" almost as usual.

So these days we need to help even more those who are struggling. We can do it in 2 ways:

Outside: Give food, schooling, flower ++.

Inside: Give them JESUS. He only can Go-to-the-root of the problem…. even during a pandemic. My experience is that only Jesus can touch us deeply, and restore what has been broken. Make us to a new creation.

Dan 10:18-19 Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”Jesus touched many New Testament times, and wants to touch us 2022 as well.

When I am touched by God, others experience that they too are touched by God. I say and do not just good thoughts or the right theology, but LIFE.

Jesus spoke from the Father's heart of God and did only the works of the Father. He can say and do the same in 2022:

If not, all I do and all I say are good thoughts in a dry and dead religion.

Thank you JESUS:

You touched me yes You touched me

And oh the joy that floods my soul

Something happened and now I know 

             You touched me and made me whole.
