My sharing – according to what?

This is not to grade performances. Not to put evaluation on how the worship and sharing during the service is being done. Yes, we all should improve our public speaking and singing as much as possible, but the main matter is that I am in the River sharing from my heart my personal testimony.

After I wrote the book "You walk - I work" it has become more and more clear to me that it is not about  producing a good speech. Not to give a TED talk.  

I think we can put public ministering into 2 categories:     

• Sharing facts, good thoughts and biblical truth. We are theologically correct.
• Sharing my personal testimony how God is working in and around me. Applying the Word of God into ordinary living.   

We are all having the treasure in our earthen vessels, but if the vessels becomes Nr 1 … the preaching will be boring. Only when I am part of God's movement, my sharing becomes exiting. And we can bear a lot of fruit.

The style is not the key. To be politically correct and "churchy" correct is not the main issue. Where is the LIFE?

I am so happy to see how we in Streams of Grace Church Ubon have different people sharing with different styles in worship, testimony and preaching.

Lately, I must say, I feel I myself is in the river…. and become exited to flow in Gods flow over Ubon-Pakse.

• Before the preaching: I am walking with God in my preparation … and He works in me. Specially during the worship before preaching. That time makes the heaven Open.
• During the preaching: I experience that the river is flowing and …. God has something to say to everyone of us.
• After preaching: The flow is still available. Even if people don't say anything ….. the living word gives blessing today on Monday, yes many days.

The Intern: Kriang

For 5 months ago Kriang took a decision; I will now 5 months full-heartily service in Streams of Grace Church Ubon, before I go to the military.

And Kriang did his 5 months very good. He has been a great blessing for us all. On Thursday last week we had a sad and happy Bye Bye evening for for him. 

Sunday was also a special: Thank you.

We have many children, students and young people coming. All are blessed in Ubon Music Café and in the Church fellowship. The worship is powerful and encouraging.

To make a commitment, a divine decision in young age brings blessings for the whole life. 

We are with you Kriang in prayer as you now will go to into the military.

Short termers, Interns, etc ..... most welcome.

More than .....an earthen vessel

We are more than:

1. a vessel. We got a treasure inside.

2. music. Our hearts are worshipping our living Jesus

3. a good program. Over the year we can learned how to be: Program Makers. But good programs are nothing without Jesus in the midst of it. 

1 Cor 13 speaks If I ..... am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 

                            if I ..... no love, I am nothing.

                            If I....  no love, I gain nothing.

Last weekend: Friday-Saturday-Sunday was encouraging. Jesus himself blessed us all. Church locality is starting to be too small.  

We need these days more than ever the Church fellowship. To come together and ...... experience the living true body of Christ.

A-B-C is on

"Worship or you will die" was a clear instruction to us as we moved here to Isaan-Pakse. The assignment was not to make all kinds of programs, but: "Worship and you will see Jesus working".

The answer is not to make more and more program ... around us. Not C-B-A but A-B-C. 

Today I came into the Streams of Grace Church here in Ubon and ...... it was overflowing of Praise. 

Recording was going on. A talented music producer has come and ...... everyone was so happy. One day you will hear it on our Streams of Grace Facebook. 

"Let the whole world know that we are the people of Praise".

The cross is shining again.

Thank you Kriang….. and all other dear coworkers we have here in Ubon-Pakse. You are all wonderful…. shining out the true meaning of the cross. 

Thank you Kriang for fixing the light to the Cross today. The spotlight has been broken a few nights.

This cross is outside the Streams of Grace Church Ubon and as we are located along the Ringroad many 1 000s of people see the Golden Cross every evening.

When we prayed where to be in Ubon … this place became clear. The Lord led us to this place at Wanarom Junction. Now a tunnel is under Construction.

Book: You Walk - I Work

For 20 years ago I tried to Put-Pen-To-Paper on my mission work, but it did not work.

On the 11 Oct 2020 at Copenhagen Airport I tried to restart my writing, but after 14 lines I decided to start over with the book and have the focus: What Jesus has done ... so far in the mission work. Then the flow came on in full.

When I came to Bangkok on 12 Oct 2020 and had to sit in quarantine for 14 days, I wrote this book.

Mission Trips

                                                

Many has been blessed richly over the years by going on different kinds of  MISSION TRIPS. Me too. I started 1970-71 with going to France and Belgium with OM. After Anna and I got married dec 1972 we joint OM team to Italy and nov 1973 overland to India.     

                                        

We strongly believe that to start missionary work with first joining Mission Teams, is a very effective and fruitful Bible School.

On this end, we are greatly blessed by teams coming to us. Now since Feb 2020 we are missing you all.

Please come back… as soon as possible. We need your inspirations and encouragements.
