Prevention is a key part of the work here in Ubon-Pakse — not only regarding Child Protection Policies (CPP) but also in other areas of life. It gives value to people at the grassroots level. We listen to them and believe in them. Indeed, we all need help from God and from others to think ahead.
Many people here have suffered abuse and consequently believe that they must become strong enough to stand entirely on their own. It is hard for them to trust others. We therefore encourage people to talk to others and ask God for wisdom. Prevention helps the whole family—not least the children and teenagers.
It is only the light—the Good News—that brings victory. We can than go the extra mile and bless those who curse. It is God’s agape love... in action.
