Church Planting in cities+suburbs

From my point of view, I see that people these days are having a greater spiritual hunger and people seek more spiritual values in life. But people search everywhere. And some are jumping into anything trying to find what can satisfies them spiritually. People pray…. search  …. knock everywhere.

I am happy that the Kingdom of God and the Body of Christ is advancing with real true Godly life. Some places quicker, some places slower. And the door of the kingdom of God is opening up.

Personal Testimonies are becoming more powerful. When I said yes to Jesus, something happened to me inside. The testimony in me is strong and no one can take it away from me. What I have experienced with God is stronger than religion. "JESUS ​​in me" is the greatest life-giving-power we can find on this earth because Jesus in me has won the victory over Satan. WOOW.

Some places like here in Ubon-Pakse people are looking for blessings from God, from idols and from Spirits. For the new believers it first can be hard not to do merits to please idols and spirit, like they did before. To leave Ancestors worship looks to be the hardest of them all. But when Jesus comes in with life….. things changes.
                                    

The Streams of Grace Church (now 9 months old) is growing with a Sunday worship, a Friday Bible study and 4 House groups in 2 suburbs. The church is seeker-friendly and open for broken and struggling people. We are all welcomed - as we are.

Welcome to come and participate also here in the services. We still meet in the Community (Traning) Centre, but we pray over finding another better place, more central.

Open doors

This evening we had a Bible study in Streams of Grace Church here in Ubon. This with open doors for ministry is ringing in me.

^{Rev 3:8} “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

^{1 Cor 16:9} For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

So … let us see and go through all open and effective doors God has opened for us 2019.

... seeker friendly

Sometimes we meet in small groups and sometimes in large groups. We also meet in the working places, shops and out on the streets and can exchange blessings with each other. In order to experience LIFE in full we ​​need: 

      1. Personally meet JESUS

      2. Meet in small groups

      3. Meet in large groups

Although we have different styles of our gatherings, Jesus is the center.                                                          

Ubon-Pakse has very few Christians (0,2%) and we work under a tough spiritual climate. Now we are in Sweden for 10 weeks and right now part DET FINNS HOPE (Hope is available) meetings on Tjörn. It`s really exiting to meet with JESUS in the centre these 5 days with up to 3,000 participants (+ many 1,000s over TV). Broken people are experiancing JESUS ​​and becoming healed, restored and recieving hope.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

We are also grateful that we can have an Information Tent in the area about CHILD SAFE and SIDA-by-SIDE.

I think there are sadly many who loves Jesus but have a hard time to feel at home in church.

My Prayer: 

Thank God for all who loves you. 

God help us to have gatherings where all feel at home. 

On Wednesday we go back to the pioneer work at Ubon-Pakse.
