The truth is 100% clear: We can`t make it by ourselves. But saved by grace we can serve Him 100%:
We must not get tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time. We must not give up. (ERV Gal 6:9)

Have a meaningful Easter 2023
Different places have different ways of living life. In some places you
are not ashamed to show that you have problems and you dare to tell openly how you are struggling. You almost enjoy painting a picture, as dark as possible.
In other places, like here in Isaan and Laos, people are much more laid-back and ashamed to show failure. You smile and want to say; Everything is OK. Even if they live on loans and the debtors are after them. "The money-sharks" hunt them daily. Some sees an escape is the only solution to their loan problem. And believe fully that the best solution to every problem is: "Smile, Smile and disappear".
We have people around here who on the outside you look fantastically well, but when you look behind, you see that they are living in hell.
We had a camp last week for around 100 children/teenagers. They had a great time.
But some ate 3 portions every meal. One of these girls said every meal: Wonder what mom is eating today. The girl, 13 years old, goes when she is at home daily to a pond and catches small fish so that the family would have food on the table.
After the camp, the staff took some home. They become really surprised when they saw how some teenagers were living in a shed
made of leaves. Only when you see their home do you see that they are extremely
poor.
Many 15-16 year old teens leave school voluntarily and take different jobs, just so that their family can have food on the table.
Teenagers in Isaan and Laos ----- seek the light and understand that the Light is stronger than the darkness.
We are invited to make monthly visits to the Prison for Children/Teens (Juvenile Detention Centre) to have baking classes and music classes. The plan is to start as soon as possible :

When they come out they have somewhere to go. They are welcome to Ubon Music Café; Bakery and the Church for fellowship and receive assistance to make them ready to go home. If they don't get help, they will only be welcomed back to criminal work. Sad face. |

In The Community |
To have a good re-entry into the community. We
follow up and regularly contact dem. Asking; How are you doing? Helping them not to go back to the criminal world. (Child Safe is already doing this with those who have been abused). That someone is asking them: How they are doing? .... is very effective. |
Who can tell them about "The Light" that is stronger than death?

During many years my main mission task was to be a travelling (itinerant) missionary, visiting people, congregations and projects in 9 countries. Often I feel so small in the task of coming to people with an encouragement and ..... being a bearer of a solution. What can I say and do, but once I am back home I always say: Good I went. God you moved among us.
I have also experienced that the best way to minister to coworkers is to go out ministring together. Jesus did it.
Now for 2 days Pastor Boy, Khun Art, Khun Jack and I have traveled 820 KM to visit different people and congregations. We dod also a survey how others are helping children-teens who are Left Behind - Not wanted. Someone said yesterday: We do not build MINISTRY or programs. We are building MINISTERS. Building people.
We are glad that we have the focus on people. Then there is hope. The answer is not that we can analyze all the deep problems. But to see God's action through us and through all different problems.

We have had since 2016 several very good Interns. And as we are all a learning Community ... we all fit into the picture. 1 April 2022 Jakob (Laos) and Oth Thailand came from the Bible school in Prachuab. They have been a great blessing for all we do in the Church and all we do in Child Safe. Thank you Children's Mission (Malmö) for your participation in this.

We are these days afraid of Problems and Testings. Social Media (Facebook +++) these days speaks: Everyone is only happy. Because none put out hard and difficult things. We think that due to good education +++ we can avoid problems. We think we have oun-made power to lead our own life in a good way. When COVID -19 come Feb 2020 many disappeared into hiding. No we need Gods Power.
Problems and testings is part of our growth. When we pass through tests.... we will learn and come into new levels. God`s Power will be visible,
We all like to pray that God will help us ... so we can avoid Problems. But in life problems are coming and we need to pray that JESUS will strengthen us in the problems.
Sometimes in problem we might think; I will not survive. I will die here
Or at best I will come through: I will come back to the same level.
No God has strength for us so: I will come through stronger.
God bless so we will not hide. Not flee from them but face them with JESUS. Even if it takes some time.
In Nov-dec 2022 I felt very weak and had back pain. It was terrible and I felt the problems like darkness. Had problems to sleep at night. Time went very very slow. I use to be active and time goes fast. But now .... I felt down.
In Jan 2023 I went to a doctor in Bangkok and after he saw my MRI x-ray he was positive. And I feel God said: Do not give up. As long as you live.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
When we fail our tests we feel ashamed and like to hide. But ..... that is not the answer, When we fail, let's help each other. We have all failed.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. James 1:3-4
