On the move in Sweden

Right now I am sitting in a bus, traveling to a Church for a Mission-service. To be in Sweden this year and visiting Churches is truly a blessing. Anna and I cannot always travel together, but …. we can always keep in touch. She is today leading the worhip in our homechurch at Klädesholmen.
Now I can even on the move, in the bus go on line and write to you, somewhere on this globe. And may be you also are on the move? Be Blessed, wherever you are, this Sunday! Ingvar

Happy Easter 2011

We have now in Sweden a warm and beautiful Easter Sunday. The winter in gone and the whole nature is full of Life. Flowers, leaves and green grass are coming up everywhere.
We wish you all, our dear friends, a blessed and meaningful Easter 2011

Spring, when change is in the air.

It is spring, the sun has at last broken through the clouds, the flowers are breaking through the thawing ground and through layers of dead leaves they display the power of life, which generates change. It's spectacular and we are in awe every year when this takes place.

Change is in the air, a new time a new season- or so the word came through anyway in the morning service today. Then I skyped with a dear friend in Chiang Mai, she related that the word the pastor received as he waited on the Lord before the service was: change, and a new time is coming.

What a coincidence. No, I am old enough to have encountered this in waves again and again through the years, now communication is faster.

As God's Holy Spirit is one, He speaks through His children the same word ushering in a new season all over the world. The display of change is out there now. But keep on looking for the power of life breaking through the hard ground and covers of dead leaves, displaying that the Kingdom of God is here.

Angels do exist!

It took three weeks for the angel to deliver the answer to Daniels prayers. An angel just dropped by to deliver the answer to my prayers. Fathers angel who delivered to Daniel, knew his messenger mission. I pray the angel who just dropped by, will understand that her thought was Fathers thought and the fact that she obeyed, brought joy to Father and to me. It became a message to me, that Fathers knows and cares about my small needs(He has so many others to care for right now, in Japan and Egypt and Libya and, and... )and He knows what color I like, my style and my size. That is awesome!

An unexpected blessing

I stood leaning over one of our patients tending to her needs, when suddenly, without any warning she opened her mouth and carefully said: ''May God's Blessing be upon you''. She had never in 8 months of care said anything like it. It felt like I just had a shower of refreshing coming down on me from heaven. The power of good words is amazing. Let's practice it a bit more, being blessed blessers.

To visit Local Churches, is inspiring.

To visit local churches is inspiring. There are many good people in the local churches very active supporting missions with prayer, money and a big interest. They are also very well informed and much involved, localy. It`s exciting to meet them.

They love God and they love to be a blessing in the society both localy and far off in Missions. I can see this combination in Asia, but also in Sweden: To worship God inside and to be a blessing in the society outside; goes Hand-in-Hand everywhere. Ingvar

Honestly speaking .......

To take over and to hand over responsibilities is a challenge. Technically it is not, but emotionally it is.

I am now taking over a new country in Asia and handing over another one, to a colleague. Honestly speaking it is a challenge to leave a work, I have enjoyed so much. But I have the motto: Start Well - Run Well - End Well. And I bless Josefin who will take over.

Today I am saying a loud Happy Birthday for my beloved wife Anna. Honestly speaking: She is without doubt the most fantastic person in the whole world to live with. Be blessed, my darling. Ingvar
