Valid also for 2025

The words from the spring of 2013 came alive for me again yesterday. 

                             

We rejoice that Jesus leads the way, we follow Him .... and we tell others what Jesus is doing. Pastor Boy preached very well yesterday 29 Dec 2024 in Streams of Grace Ubon on: Our weakness ----- and God's strength.

Thank you all who, in different ways, walk with Jesus and us here in Ubon-Pakse. We have had a very blessed 2024 and now God reminds us again: The only way forward for 2025 is: 

                                    

Welcome to our Ubon-Pakse walk with Jesus. There is much here that Anna and I cannot do, nor our coworkers ... but only God himself can. (The biggest obstacle in God's kingdom is when we think we can do it ourselves, without God's mighty working hand.) 

2 years ago, my brother Rune and I attended a morning devotion in St Klara Church in Stockholm and the words NEW GOD'S PRESENCE came alive for me. Thank you Jesus.   

Blessed Christmas 2024 with .....

Thank you for participating in spreading the Good News in Isaan and Laos during 2024. 

And now ..... we need each to shine even stronger 2025.

Happy Birthday: Streams of Grace 6 years.

Streams of Grace Church in the middle of the community turned 6 years old on Dec. 12. We had a very encouraging service yesterday with around 120 people. Many more are come from time to time.

 

Due to poverty, many in Isaan and Laos are left with relatives --- and feel abandoned. In Streams of Grace and Child Safe we have a genuine Agape love - Belonging. We say: "You are free to come. You are free to go". The reaction then becomes; "Then I want to stay". The Good News is that all of us are "good enough" to join the Body of Christ. Woow. Me too. It is only in Belonging to our Creator Himself that we can all find our true Home. 

"And the angel said to them, Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord". Luke 2:10-11 

We now have many "The Meaning-of-Christmas" programs in many different neighborhoods. Exiting to share the good News.

Blessed together 52 years

Thank you for all för you prayer for us from our wedding day 9th Dec 1972 in Kungshamn. We are so happy for our 52 years together. We are praising God He led us to Ubon-Pakse.

We have now started Christmas Celebrations in the Communities. And everyone is vary happy to learn about the meaning of Christmas.

Mission Impossible

Life is full of Mission Impossible. When we become an older missionary, we may at first be tempted to think that we know everything about missions, even pioneer missions. We might think that the answer is to copy the pioneering work of Kolkata, Jessore, Erdenet etc.  

But no. Very soon we realize that only with God himself and together with others we can do something positive. We must give God and other people "room to be involved. God is not a "copy machine". He makes all things new. A new Creation. So exciting.

Yes, we need God's mighty hand and Creative cooperation with others.

Yesterday, Majra came to Church very happy. "I will sing," she said with great joy in her eyes.  

And the three little girls sang together with the adults with joy. Absolutely wonderful. We are happy that the children and young people learn life-values ​​in the early years. There are many we could write about. But we don't want to "hang out" anyone. They all go through a recovery process. Into restoration.

Now we are working hard for the Christmas celebration 2024 in many places in and around Ubon. Children, young people and adults are already waiting for us to come. There will be singing, The Meaning of Christmas (the market wants to claim it's Santa's birthday), simple Christmas presents and food.
